And in the opposite corner… SOUL CLAP!
It’s label vs label, DJ vs DJ, brother vs brother, these are blood feuds whose fault lines will take generations to heal.
Wolf + Lamb is a partnership between Zev “Wolf” Eisenberg and Gadi “Lamb” Mizrahi that grew from two turntables and a dream into a incubator for house talent, as well as branching out into numerous other genres. They are also the umbrella over three record labels, over 100 community dances, a clothing line, a legendary six star hotel and club, and, probably most adorably, a line of organic pet food called Woof & Lamme.
Soul Clap is a Boston-based DJ collective full of innovative edits, originals, and remixes. I would expound on their origin story, but I don’t think I can do better than they can, so I’ll just let them tell it:
“Elyte and Cnyce´s paths were crossed for all time when a Sun Ra light beam sent from Saturn collided with the P-Funk Mothership and sent them tumbling to earth. Now, Soul Clap time travels on a musical spaceship of dopeness…”
Yeah, it’s pretty crazy. And this clash promises to bring exactly that kind of eccentricity, fun, and great music. One night only, in the heart of Miami.
