Toronto, get your groovin’ shoes ready. The Orwells are headed your way and no matter what the name of their most recent album was, I still think you’re going to like them.
That being said, it’s called Terrible Human Beings and it was released back in February. With thirteen tracks of hip bouncing good times, you’ll never find yourself skipping a song. Go pick up the album then fall back and get into listening to some of the hits you may already be familiar with like “Who Needs You,” “Mallrats (La La La),” and “The Righteous One.”
As an added FYI, they’re going to be starting a massive tour on May 17th and will run through October that will send them throughout North America, including Governor’s Ball and Bonnaroo.
THEN, immediately after Bonnaroo, they’re going on a thirteen city European tour, five of which they’re playing with a little band called Weezer. Not sure if you’re familiar with them, but they’ve had a few hits you may recognize like “The Sweater Song,” “Beverly Hills,” and “Island in the Sun.”
So, if you’re lucky enough to be in the Toronto area, their tour is coming through at the end of May, thanks to Embrace Presents, at 8 PM.
