Starting a party begins with a dream, but what it really takes to make it happen is the commitment and willingness of a team to learn on the fly. It’s easy to have commitment, but it’s tougher to learn on the fly. So when that party turns into something real, and that something makes it a whole year; that’s something worth celebrating.
For Nacht.TO, achieving all that and becoming one of Toronto’s hottest underground events is worth celebrating and then some. With their first anniversary coming up, they’re throwing a big party at One Loft on January 13th. The headlining guest will be renowned producer Black Asteroid.
Black Asteroid is a maestro of musical production. Of course, my opinion on that doesn’t carry a ton of clout, but Prince’s probably does. And Prince thought pretty highly of him considering Black Asteroid served as Prince’s engineer for some time.
Black Asteroid will be joined in the main room by Toronto warehouse staple Ryan Lamont and Nacht.TO’s own R3GULUS and Equus. There’ll also be a side room in the cafe where you can catch some deep house with Mustafa Ismaeel and Ceelos.
Not only will the celebration be about what has been accomplished, but it will serve as a thank you to everyone who has gotten them to where they are. And of course, it’ll be about all the great things to come. So come out and help celebrate one year with many more ahead for Nacht.TO.
