Honestly, have you seen a better lineup of rock and metal than this year’s Chicago Open Air Festival?
Danny Wimmer Presents is bringing you three days of amazing acts along with an extensive offering of craft beer and local gourmet food.
KISS, who rarely appear on US festival lineups, will be headlining on Friday, joined by multiple other legends including Rob Zombie, Megadeth, and Meshuggah. Saturday is full of rock idols including Korn, Godsmack, and Seether. Closing out the festival on Sunday is Ozzy Osbourne, who will be giving fans one of his first solo performances since Black Sabbath’s final tour. He will also be joined by guitarist Zakk Wylde in a reunion ten years in the making!
The festival also offers “Gourmet Man Food,” which apparently is a real thing. The festival describes the term as “a phenomenon of artistically created statement making food, served in large portions with a powerful presentation.” But don’t let the name fool you – ladies can certainly partake in the delicious variety of GMF that Open Air has to offer.
Back again to provide drinks will be the Headbangers Bier Hall, presented by Decibel Magazine. It’s a metal-themed bar featuring regional craft beer and beverages inspired by artists. Don’t worry if beer’s not your thing; there’s also a wine garden and a tiki bar serving up cold cocktails.
Don’t miss your chance to see all of your favorite rock acts in one place! Over forty awesome bands playing over the course of three days at Toyota Park. What better way is there to spend a summer weekend?
