As the second to last New Music Friday of the year, there aren’t very many new album releases this week other than 21 Savage. If you’re looking for the rest you should check out, we kept it short but sweet.
Sybyr – Deal With It
Maryland based Singer, rapper, and producer Sybyr has dropped his latest project Deal With It. Sybyr seems to have the ability to seamlessly switch between aggressively loud and heartbreakingly slow at the drop of the hat in this darker album.
MIKE – War in My Pen
MIKE has released War in my Pen, dropping lines over melodic beats with the same ferocity of this New York rapper’s albums past. Throughout the album, MIKE “tackles topics regarding the trials and tribulations of being in New York City, depression and anxiety.”
Tiny Meat Gang – Locals Only
While Tiny Meat Gang got their start in somewhat humorous rap insulting Soundcloud rappers and Jake Paul, their newest rap album release has dropped the overt humor for more subtleties than before, laced on top of some fun beats. This is not your average serious rap album.
Manu Gavassi – CUTE BUT PSYCHO
Brazilian singer songwriter Manu Gavassi has released a small EP or extended single, CUTE BUT PSYCHO, as an electropop anthem to ring in 2019.
