According to Willamette Weekly, statistically, Oregon residents smoke marijuana at a higher rate than Washington residents and the state has higher concentrations of dispensaries. What does that mean for out-of-towners coming in for a show or just some well-deserved R&P (rest and pot)? This change in laws could affect tourism in Portland irrevocably.

It means that there are folks on AirBnB who want to make your trip as highly enjoyable as they can and Bud and Breakfast with the kind of cannabis friendly lodging any smoker’s face lights up to.

On Bud and Breakfast’s website, there’s currently a trailer parked in someone’s driveway for $100 a night that includes the cannabis. Lovingly titled “Glamping in the City!” it might be exactly what someone is looking for to get away while still being in an area with a 96 walking score (if you don’t know, that’s INCREDIBLE).

There are even hotels in the area now serving up packages to take care of any smoker’s wants (within reason). Take a gander at Jupiter Hotel’s 420 Package, which includes:

Jupiter Hotel's 420 Package

• Room a room
• Latest issue of Dope Magazine
• Munchie kit
• “Everything But The Weed Kit”
Dope Magazine vape pen (retail cost $60)
• Jupiter Hotel t-shirt
Dope Magazine hat
• Discount coupons to local dispensaries

Don’t be fooled though, while they have the packages, the smoking of cannabis on the property is not allowed. It’s the law.

So, Portland, what do you think about all the possibilities for your otherworldly adventures? Will you be taking a staycation?
