Already having announced a spectacular summer 2017 line up, AEG has announced they have secured an exclusive booking and concert promotion agreement for the Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. There is a lot of history at this stadium, mostly known to be the former home of the first U.S. Open Tennis Championship.
AEG owned Madison House will be in charge of the bookings as well as the renovation and redesign process of the 13,000 capacity stadium to better suit the concert experience. From seating to concessions to new ‘speakeasy’ VIP areas with hidden entry points, every bit of space will be used create a memorable experience at a beautiful location. Oh and let’s not forget they built a suite that can only be accessed only via secret passage through a fake port-a-potty.

Madison House’s Mike Luba spoke with Billboard:
“The real beauty is it was designed almost pre-electricity. If you’re in the last seat, furthest from the front of the stage, you’re only half the distance of a comparable seat in the Garden. And it was designed to watch little human beings playing tennis and hear line calls. It’s acoustically perfect.”
The concert series may only take place during the summer season, but AEG also has potential idea’s of operating as a haunted house during Halloween and an ice rink during the off season.
