Nestled in the Miami Music Week listings, you might have noticed an unfamiliar venue, C&L Warehouse. Sitting among more well-known destinations in the celebrated Wynwood Art District, this blank storefront is a temporary event space that comes alive occasionally to serve the most cutting-edge part of Miami’s underground scene.
Behind that blank façade, there’s a hidden gem in C&L Warehouse. It’s where local promoters know to place a show when they want to create an exclusive crowd of people who are in the know and are dedicated to really exploring the Miami electronic scene.
The clubs in South Beach often attract great performances, but they’re also flooded with the notoriety of everybody in the world and probably their cool aunt visiting the city. But when an artist wants to really do a show for a sophisticated audience and really explore the nuance of their craft, you’re more likely to find that show at C&L Warehouse.
This Miami Music Week, the curtain is pulled back a bit though. The events are listed on the site and they’re inviting a larger audience to see what they’re really all about. C&L Warehouse is hosting two shows put on by Diskolab, one headlined by Space Yacht and one by Bedouin. So if you’re curious as to what true Miami electronic fans do when the tourists leave town, this is the place to check out.
