[UPDATE October 9th, 2017] Unfortunately, Sound On Sound Fest 2017 has been cancelled by the festival’s organizers. More information can be found on The Austin Chronicle.

Austin certainly has no shortage of festivals. With SXSW, ACL, Euphoria, and more, it may surprise you to learn there’s a new kid on the block looking to make a name for themselves in a packed market.

Sound on Sound Fest is a little bit different than the aforementioned Texan festivals, and that’s because it’s also a camping festival in Sherwood Forest this November 10-12. It’s brought to you by the same people who used to run the Fun Fun Fun Festival.

Headliners include Yeah Yeah YeahsGrizzly BearIggy Pop, The Shins, Blood Orange, and more. With the one-two punch of camping and a lineup like this, Sound on Sound is sure to stand out among festivals.

The festival occurs in the Renaissance Village located in The Lost Pines Forest, 35 miles east of Austin. Shuttles are offered from Dallas, Austin, Houston, College Station, and San Antonio.
