It may seem a bit odd to people outside of L.A., but Angelenos in the know know that Wednesdays are party days.
That’s because four years ago, Underrated Presents, the promoter behind events like Minimal Effort Halloween, and Minimal Effort NYE, launched a Wednesday event called Clinic Wednesdays.
Since then, it’s evolved from a fun experiment on a quirky day into one of the most well-curated underground music events in southern California and the country. Last year for their anniversary, they got Adam Port to play the party, so this year they knew they had to go bigger.
Their anniversary party is growing to the entire month of January (on Wednesdays of course). The next event is going to feature Dirtybird’s Ardalan going all night long, and the following Wednesday will be led by spiritual runaway LUM.
One more thing… Clinic Wednesdays is also ringing in another year with a brand new home, the graffiti-covered music temple Station1640 right in the heart of Hollywood.
