If their newest EP has any bearing on where SHAED is going, you’ll be very familiar with them soon enough. Especially since they currently have at least 28 shows lined up through June across the country including at Firefly Music Festival, Electric Forest, and Summerfest in Wisconsin.
This soul-filled electronic pop project is compromised of a set of multi-instrumentalist twins, Max and Spencer Ernst, and a vocalist who sounds like she was born to be on stage, Chelsea Lee.
While things seem to have taken off out of nowhere over the past few months, the members are no stranger to the stage. The Ernst brothers have been writing songs since first grade and connected with Lee while still in high school.
It sounds like the band is currently working on new music and recording on the tour in hopes to release something new in the coming year. And, if you have any fears about them doing it on tour, just know that their first EP release, Just Wanna See, was recorded in their makeshift basement studio, Max deemed the “Creative Dungeon” so have no fear.
If you’re lucky enough to be in Portland, they’ll be at Doug Fir Lounge on April 19th and throughout the country all summer.
