Legendary rockers Guns N’ Roses has added a Washington date to their ‘Not In This Lifetime Tour’ and are scheduled to play on September 3rd, 2017 at the Gorge Amphitheatre.

In 2017, the band is scheduled to play a tour that will travel across Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Dubai, North America and Europe.

The U.S. leg of the tour will kick off in St. Louis, Missouri, where the band has not played since ‘Riverport Riot’.

Rolling Stone reports the significance of this incident and explains:

“The first stop on the 2017 North American leg is a July 27th gig in St. Louis, Missouri, where the band’s infamous “Riverport Riot” occurred in July 1991. During the show, Axl Rose attacked a photographer in the audience, blaming security for not confiscating the person’s camera and then walking offstage.

A riot ensued, injuring dozens of fans. GN’R was banned from playing St. Louis and Rose was charged with four counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of property damage and fined $50,000.

The 2017 St. Louis show will be GN’R’s first in the city since then. When the initial batch of Not in This Lifetime dates were announced in 2015, St. Louis was not included.”

Don’t miss out on this iconic tour and make sure to plan accordingly as tickets will go on sale at 10am on December 10th, 2016.
