The End of the Ocean
If you’re looking for an incredible post-rock band without vocals to interrupt the incredible musicianship, these are your guys. Their sound traverses everything from beautiful to straight up arena rock. And… this is the kick off to their summer tour, so it’s bound to be an incredible show. From here, they’re hitting up Ohio, Michigan, Ontario, New York, and Pennsylvania. If you love them now, look forward to their new full-length album coming out sometime later this year.
Friday, August 4th
If you’re looking for electro-houses’s own personal hero, this is your guy. San Francisco DJ & producer Justin Martin should already be on your radar after headlining the Yuma Tent last year at Coachella but if not, now’s your chance. Prepare for club rattling bass, catchy hooks, and polished sets. You cannot listen to him without moving, so prepare your dancing shoes.
Saturday, August 5th
Emo-infused surf rock? That’s right. And they’re from Chicago. This is a double win. This sounds like if the Fight Club soundtrack met up with Weezer and Brand New and they played in Southern California. Listen and tell me I’m wrong. Their most recent release, a three song EP called The Place To Be, takes it all to the next level.
Sunday, August 6th
If it’s bangers you’re looking for, these Canadian brothers know exactly how to please you. Their songs run the gamut, with vocals that hit you right in the feels and buildups that eventually drop harder than should be humanly possible. Close out your non-Lollapalooza weekend with a live show that will change you.
